Steamboat Springs Summer Family Session on the rocks

A lovely young family traveled to Steamboat Springs for summer recreation, a visit with friends and to have a photo session with me.  My dilemma to scout a new location started with our mountain not being open due to a newly installed gondola delay.   A thunderstorm forecast added to our worry of poor lighting and just simply being rained out.  But I found a fence line, a group of rocks and old unused driveway with a view.  It all came together very nicely, our rain held out and all were pleased.
